Moving timeline in Resolve
Hi, already since Resolve 10 I am looking for more convincing way of moving timeline left/right than moving horizontal scroll bar – e.g. in FCPX there’s that hand tool, not to mention standard Shift+scroll mouse button like in Premiere. Am I missing something obvious in Resolve?

Yes, Resolve is missing something obvious 🙂
Also i find it awkward to zoom with that flimsy slider instead of just middle/left click or something easy.Resolve 11.3 – Smoke 2015 EXT1 – Sapphire 8

Sasha at least zooming can be achieved with ALT+Scroll combination 😉

Guys just in case it helps anyone – it is possible to scroll timeline horizontally with mousescroll. You only need to go to View menu and tick out option “Enable 2D Timeline Scroll”. Now mousescroll moves timeline horizontally and if you need to scroll vertically you press Shift.

Tomek is correct: “Enable 2K Scroll” is still in the 14.1 View menu…

I just made an account to tell you about NOT disabling the “Enable 2D Timeline Scroll”.
If you leave the option you can move through the timeline with HOLD+MIDDLE CLICK and moving across the timeline vertical & horizontal.
