    Hello,

I have a clip shot on a green screen which I got rid of in AE.
Back to davinci, I am trying to add a little bit of blur to it (with the blur palette) to deal with the legitimate incorrect DOF (the background is, as the foreground, sharp as I want it to be).

The problem is that the effect does not blur the outline of my non-transparent pixels making the limits with the background even sharper.

Is there a way to go around this ?
I thought about doing the effect before getting rid of the green screen but that mights make things more complicated when getting rid of the green screen.
Thanks a lot for your support and input.

The alpha channel is not part of the normal Y’CbCr color channels so what you will need to do is split out the alpha so that it is accessible to Resolve for correction processing. Probably means gong back to the generating application and exporting a travelling matte movie that you would attach to the foreground plate. Not the workflow you would have preferred, most likely.
