  Resolve stops working (crashes) when attempting to load clips

  Greetings! I am brand new to Resolve. When attempting to load clips (MP4), I click on the library folder containing the clips (I set up that folder in “preferences”), the clip thumbnails begin to show up, but the program stops working (crashes). Windows does its crash report thing, then the program closes.

  When loading the program, I also get error messages saying “Quick Time Decoder initialization failed,” and “No OpenCL Acceleration Hardware Detected!” However, the program does go on to load.

  Resolve 11.31.1lite.018
  Windows 8.1 64-bit
  Nvidia GT750M

  Hi all,
  I am also facing this issue. sometimes when loading the clips resolve asks for saving the project and immediately quits. recently i installed windows 8.1. Is that the issue?

  and why i am getting the error msg..” failed to intialize red decoder settings with the….

  video card 1 is gtx titan black
  video card 2 is quadro k4000
