  error message “failed to write to database folder be sure you have correct permissions”

  I opened Davinci Resolve today and got this error message:
  “failed to write to database folder be sure you have correct permissions”

  Now even after reconnecting the database all of my color correction and grading is gone. Also in the media library it lists my external hard drive where all my files are stored (“Media Drive”) as well as a duplicate of my hard drive which it named (“Media Drive1”) which is empty.

  The program did not crash and was working fine yesterday.

  I have tried rebooting my Mac several times and Davinci Resolve still keeps making a copy of Media Drive and my color correction and grading is still gone.
