  Exporting: Media remains as individual files

  Hello All,

  I am exporting using DaVinco Resolve Lite, and while it turns some of my media into video clips for export, much of my footage shows up as a folder containing mini-clips/frames and a separate audio track.

  I tried adding them into the timeline to create an individual clip out of them, but some of the frames are incredibly long, causing my footage to randomly freeze at points.

  Has any one experienced this before, or know what’s going on?

  I had this issue while using the full Resolve as well.

  MAC Specs:
  Processor: 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5
  Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
  Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1024 MB

  Sorry, are you saying when you add media to your media pool it doesn’t always come in as a single file?

  What type of media are you working with?

  Is it all the same media type, but some work and some doesn’t, or does format A work, but format B doesn’t?

  Are these spanned clips somehow, or file sequences that are missing some frames?
