  Canon 1DC MJPEG transcode

  We have a new 12core MacPro with the D700 GPUs. Anyone else using a similar machine to transcode 4K MJPEG files from the Canon 1DC to 1080 ProRes or DNxHD? We’re getting 9 fps. (Not really any different than our iMac w/ 680 GPU.)

  When we transcode other files, like XAVC or R3D we get very good results (30 to 50 fps). Wondering if we’re doing something wrong.

  We are having exactly the same problem with 1DC footage and Resolve here in Ealing Studios in London. We hear their is a bug in Scratch that drops in random blank frames in longer takes that have been stitched together. Any suggestions to speed up 1DC transcodes?
