    Hey All
I am trying to conform a project that was captured at 3 different aspect ratios…. 5K WS (5120 x 2160), 5K (5120 x 2700) and 4K (4096 x 2160) – it was colored in Resolve and will be conformed in Adobe Premiere Pro

For our final output, we want a 4K project with with a letterbox that matches the 5K WS (2.4:1 or similar) – so we want the entire 5K WS image to be visible, and we are willing to drop the letterbox on the 5K and 4K

Our first attempt at this was a mess, we outputted from resolve at 5K and had to resize everything to fit on a 4K timeline, including enlarging 5K footage by 107% to fit (not sure how that happened)

Someone suggested that we export 2 different XMLs from Resolve, one 4K (4096 x 2160) for 4K/5K and one (????? aspect ratio) for 5K WS and then combine them in Premiere

Any suggestions on how to do this correctly?

    thanks
