    Hey guys
i’m not 100% sure if this workflow will throw up big problems for online & colorist but here goes… If anyone can help me that’d be great. Sorry that this involves 2 other bits of software but i’m not sure where best to post..

(I have no control over the first two steps as they have already been done)

    1. .r3d files transcoded to ProRes (using redcine-x & redrocket)
    2. Syncing done in FCP7 timelines
My tentative plan as I want to cut in MC7:
    3. Export timelines via Automatic Duck to MC7 – AMA linking to the ProRes
    4. Conform (re-wrap) ProRes in .mxf
    5. Create sunc clips from sunc up timelines now in MC7 and edit. (Including re-speeds, re-sizes etc)
    6. Lock edit & relink to AMA files (ProRes)
    7. Export AAF & give that and original .r3d media to colorist
    8. Colorist **should** be ok right? (i’m pretty sure it will be a resolve job)
