Over the weekend I was working on a show that had a couple “wind blurs”…. basically a streaky blur cross dissolve… I didn’t have much time to try an recreate it in Resolve, and getting back to it in FCP7 wasn’t going to be all that difficult. So I took a stab at it and found that the blur with a full horizontal adjustment didn’t have the right kind of quality… Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how to achieve something like this inside of Resolve? Preferably without Sapphire… but if only with Sapphire, that is another reason to take a serious look at it…

I plan on investigating deeper myself, but I thought I’d ask…

It would be quite useful is resolve could have an extended vertical/horizontal blur, just like the new extended blur!
