  DaVinci Resolve 10 is now available

  We are pleased to announce that DaVinci Resolve 10 is now available for download from the support web site. This includes Mac, Windows and Linux OS versions and also the no charge DaVinci Resolve Lite for Mac and Windows.

  We recommend that users back up their projects/database before upgrading and to move to v10 to enjoy the more than 100 new features.

  For new users, please refer to the configuration guides on the BMD support site. Links can be found on the BMD post production forum.

  Thanks Peter, for the Mac installation, is there a recommended OSX version? Mavericks?

  Great work BMD. Thank you.

  +1 on the changes / bug fixes list.

  For example when importing an XML can we turn off ‘use scaling’ with the checkbox now? Doing it manually clip by clip in a whole sequence when required isn’t ideal! (-;

  so far so good……hasnt crashed yet so thats a good thing…unfortunately my gpu is looking a bit dated all of a sudden! thats progress…i better order one of those new macs!

  resolve lite hang on startup since upgrading form windows 8 to 8.1.
  i tried to clean postgresql and all programs needed, cleaned all folders (programdata …).

  tried to reinstall 9.0 10 beta 1, 2, 3 and now 10.0.
  no way.

  is there a chance to fix this?

  What does this mean in installer notes:
  • Stereoscopic 3D is not supported in this version

  OK I understood this in beta stage, but now, if this is a release version… How come stereo is not supported? I did a job on 10beta in stereo, there are still bugs etc, but still stereo was working with a bit of trial and error method.
