How to add background to already Keyed scene
So … i think i just did about 15 hours of keying and editing and its all for naught.
Pictured below are my elements/scenes. The entire music video was shot on blue screen.
What I did was
1. film
2. import and organize shots in FCPX
3. export each camera angle to AE (still with blue screen intact)
4. key out every camera angle in AE and exported each angle back into FCPX
5. took the Keyed out shots in FCXP and did a Master Edit (with effects and coloring in FCP)
6. Now back in AE and want to add disco lights back ground and stuff to the final editBut I’m realizing I probably should’ve added my disco lights backgrounds during keying.
Am I COMPLETELY wrong now?
When I add my Final Edited video in my timeline in AE and throw a disco lights background into AE and select “Screen” or “Add”, my footage is too transparent.
Footage FROM FCP with black background and lighting and coloring added

Example of disco background I’d like to add BEHIND actor

What I’d LIKE it to look like. (I went back to my unedited AE session and threw this BG into my Keying Project)

Do I have to go back and RE-EDIT my footage??
