  Resolve to FCP roundtrip problems

  Hi guys!
  I did some grading on mixed codec material (was delivered to me like that…), and after importing .xml made in DaVinci i got some gaps in the timeline. simply missing clips not even offline media. Any idea what to do?

  Create a video layer to each camera/file type.
  and render one layer at a time and rebuild in FCP.

  Sounds like a good idea, thanks ill do that next time, now i had to react quickly so i just exported single clip 😉

  Sounds like you may have not rendered the clips with unique identifiers? Resolve may have been overwriting clips with the same name each time that clip was utilized?
