Hi all, I’m nearly finished grading a 14 minute short shot on the RedOne at 4K. In the edit, the director added a couple of digital zooms and pans that he wants to retain. The only problem is I only have access to Resolve Lite, so I can’t export to 4K and do the animating within a finishing NLE.

Is there any way of keyframing sizing within Resolve Lite?

The only option I can think of is exporting portions 4K frame scaled 100% 4 times, then stitching them together to recreated the graded, 4K frame. Which is, of course, absurd.

yes, you can do it in Resolve.
Right click on the timeline, on the PTZR track (last one). Then click to “add dynamic keyframe”, and at the end of the zoom right click, and “add static keyframe”.
After that you can create the two endpoints, and Resolve will do the rest in between.

Ah, thank you so much. I didn’t realise that was what that track was for.
