    Hi,

I just completed the edit on a documentary in Premiere Pro CS6.
The footage was shot with a 5D MKIII and I’ve edited the files in it’s native H264 format in Premiere Pro. The audio was recorded seperately and then merged together, so they would act as a master clip in Premiere Pro.

Now, the time has come to colorgrade the project. I’ve cleaned up the sequence and broken them into 4 different parts lasting about 10-15 minutes each. All of the video is on one single track.

When I export an XML from Premiere Pro and import it into Resolve 9, only one clips shows up for some reason and I really can’t figure out why. AAF export from Premiere Pro doesn’t work either.

    Any ideas?

    Best regards,
    Daniel

If I can’t get an XML working I will have to export a self-contained movie and use scene detection in Resolve.

What format should I export to from Premiere Pro? I am on a PC running Windows 8. All of the footage is native H264 files from a 5D MKIII.
    Final delivery is for TV.

I just ran into this with Resolve 10 and Premiere Pro CC. Apparently “Merged Clips” still don’t jive with XML’s or AAF’s. Anyone care to confirm?
