Ok, sorry if this has been beaten like a dead horse.

I just threw a quadro 4000 card in my 2010 mac pro (2.8 quad core).

    current specs are:

    5770 card in slot one
    quadro 4000 in slot two
    red rocket in slot three

i’m transcoding out from alexa 4444 to 422hq at about 30fps.. shouldn’t it be faster? that is with 2 nodes.

I hear people saying 45-50fps renders but I’m not seeing that.

running 32gb of ram as well.

quadro 4000 shows up in resolve, without my rendres are 10fps or so so the card is definitely being utilized.

Q4000 is weak card. Also HDD speed may be issue. Are you reading/writing from same volume?

Check BMD config guide for gfx card recommendations,

4000 is very weak. you will not get any great performance out of it.

you should use it maybe in place of ati you have and add something faster.

it has been talked not so many threads ago many times.
try to make some searches on gtx cards and you have
    many options and pointers.

If not come back here and i will search them for you.
