I have a large 5000×5000 px 72 pixels/inch file I want to put in a HD 1080 composition. When I try to import it AE says
“error: row size too large (-57520) (7::53).
the pic is a satellite image I want to have as large as possible to be able to zoom in with a camera, so I don’t want to loose any resolution.
Any tips on how to do it the best way?
    Thanks,
    Cris

Ae can handle images larger than that, so Ae’s TIFF importer must be having a problem with something specific to that file. Open it in Photoshop and save it as a different format (PSD, PNG, etc.) then import that.

You might also consider filing a bug report [link].

    Thanks Walter.
To keep going I just divided the file in four slices and put them together in AE, but I wonder why the problem.
    Thanks,
