  • Settings issue going from AE6 to AE Creative Cloud?

I’ve got a heavily layered / nested file that normally looks like this in CS6:

But when opened in Creative Cloud, looks like this:

The CC one shows some weird shadow layer to the left of the files that does not exist in the CS6 version, nor does it show up when I open the layered file in Photoshop. I’ve spent the better part of five hours Googling the issue and toggling all sorts of things to try to alleviate the situation, but to no avail.

Some co-workers of mine in another region sent me some fixed template files for CC, that do in fact display like the CS6 version on their computers. Yet when I open the new fixed comps, I still have the same issue.

This has me wondering… Is there a setting I need to change in AE CC to get it to recognize these layers?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Unfortunately, we’re still facing this issue and I wanted to bump to see if anyone else has experienced issues when opening template (Built in CS6) in Creative Cloud.

    Thanks everyone
