  new to DaVinci/Import MOV. Clips

  I am new to Resolve (picked up a copy in NYC last weekend) , I am also somewhat new with MC6..

  My question is:

  How can I import a regular MOV. file (from the desktop or a folder) into Resolve? for the moment I work off a MBP… When I try & load clips I can’t click on them (the text appears faded)

  If it’s faded, it means it’s a format/codec Davinci doesn’t support. Check the official list of supported formats on the Blackmagic support site.

  In Avid, you can transcode your footage to DNxHD.
