  DaVinci Beta 4 Crashes

  Hi:

  Working with our 1st FCP X show, got past the XML problems and finally got the show conformed (a whole another story). Software has been
  crashing and disappearing (never had that happen before) and when I tried to pull up a still for comparison, the still was RED, no image.
  Tried all of the usual things to make the computer happy, permission repairs, reboots, etc. But crashing and red stills still happening.
  I have an older version of Resolve on another partition so I tried to export the project to the non beta upgraded version, but the Resolve crashes on export. Tried exporting an XML (non FCP X) and was successful, but the non beta version of Resolve would not load that XML.
  So……I’m open to any advise. And the above happened with a Client in the room, Thank God they were understanding about the FCP X upgrade and our beta version – but I need to get it working. Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

  8.2 official, non beta, was rolled out earlier this week…. maybe that will cure what ails you?
