    Hey guys,

I’m extremely new to the Resolve system and I want to ask a simple question. How do I create Proxies from RED footage so I can grade in RT?

In the media pool, I’ve tried right clicking the RED files to add to the Proxy Manager but the files do not appear in the Proxy Manager

I’ve been searching around for answers but no luck..

you should go to the config page and change the debayer setting to half or quarter for grading withour red rocket (depends an your cpu).

or: go the dpx way. which means render out original resolution dpx sequences with the raw settings of your choice baked in. then the proxy manager can help you, it only works with dpx so far.
