Re-sizing the window
I’m just beginning my explorations of Da Vinci Resolve as a student in production. I downloaded the newest Lite version on my personal computer (Mac) to begin experimentation, BUT the display appears bigger than my screen, and I’m having trouble figuring out how to change it. All the control tabs on the bottom are off the screen, and so i’ not sure how to adjust it. Any advice or tips would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Davinci Resolve requires a large resolution, I believe something like 1920×1080. However, there seems to be a workaround of sorts. Check out this video. I’m on Windows so I can’t verify, but it looks like it works.

For what it’s worth, if you have access to a nice calibrated monitor (I use an original-model Apple Cinema Display), it’s a much nicer experience and you’re much more likely to get an accurate grade, compared to the Macbook monitors which are all oversaturated and contrasty and weird.

Thanks for the response Michael! The video looked promising, but when i tried the suggested method…no change is apparent. Some of the comments on the video were from people having the same problem. I left a comment on the video as well, hopefully the author will be able to shed some light. Thanks for your help.
