  Xml from Davinci 8.2 to Premier Pro 5.5.2

  I know there was a bug in Davinci for a while where it couldn’t read the PPro XML, and that’s been fixed. Now, when trying to bring the graded XML from Davinci back into PPRo, i get the error that it couldn’t read the xml.

  anyone else getting this?

  I think it wasn’t a bug.
  Premiere CS5 reads/writes XML version 4 while Davinci understands XML version 5.
  But maybe they fixed it with CS5.5.

  Can you check the XML version?

  yeah, like i said, i know it WAS a bug. DaVinci can read the xml from premiere (in v5.5.2), but the XML that Davinci makes, to connect to the colored material, cannot be brought back into Premiere.

  Using the beta 4 released today it doesnt gives any error.

  Y export the xml from resolve and open it into cs5.5.2 and it charges the timeline with the clips.

  excellent new. I didn’t know that beta4 was out. I’m heading over there to grab it now.
