I’m updating a macpro to LION so I can update to AVID MC 6. Will be downloading resolve lite. Installing quadro fx4800. It is my understanding that Lion has the proper graphic card driver built in? Then do I just download the cuda driver from Nvidia? Then I will connect my cinema display to the graphic card that came with the Mac Pro, use the 4800 unconnected for the cuda support and then get another I/O card to connect the Broadcast monitor. Do I have this right?

There is a configuration guide on the Blackmagic site that details every requirement.

I am running MC6 under Snow Leopard.
Don’t see the need for Lion. Don’t need that kind of access to, or intrusions by, Apple’s AppStore.
