Activity Forums DaVinci Resolve 24 fps

I usually work in 25 fps, but I’m now doing a 24fps cinema commercial. So I’ve set all settings to 24fps, but whatever I do, I still end up with a 25 fps timeline. I’m using a tiff sequence as footage, I’ve tried cutting it in scene detection manually and by loading a 24p edl from avid, then a windows pops up asking if i’m sure I want to use these settings (25 fps), but I can’t change them. Also if I just create a master sequence out of the uncut tiff sequence it is a 25 fps sequence. I tried grading, then rendering it and then conforming it to 24fps again with cinema tools, but this doesn’t seem like the right way.

    anyone?

You needs to set your timeline and conform frame rate in the config page to 24fps prior to starting the job and certainly prior to putting clips into the media pool.

Thanks! Pretty stupid, overlooked the conform rate.

    Peter,

Is there anyway to change the framerate on a timeline once it has already been worked on? Or is there anyway to transfer the corrections from a 25p timeline to a 23.98p one?
