  Problem with Quicktime-Source Timecode in Resolve 8.1 and Alexa

  Hi,

  I´m an assistant-editor working with avid and use Davinci Resolve to apply LUTs to Arri Alexa-Footage and Grading for our Dailies.

  Up until last Sunday everything went fine.
  But after MacOSX Lion had some problems booting, I had to reinstall everything.
  And now the source-timecode is not taken over to the output-quicktimes when I render the quicktime-daily-files.
  I have “Source” in the Rendering-Mode checked…

  I took some shortcuts during the installation of the new system (I didn´t install SnowLeopard before Lion, didn´t install 8.0.1 before 8.1) but currently I can only guess what the problem could be…

  Any idea, what the solution for this problem might be?

  P.S. I really like Davinci Resolve and can´t wait for the windows release in Q1 2012!!!

  You also need to check in Config if your Timeline conform options have the following options selected..

  Embedded in the source clip

  Assist using reel numbers from the:
  Embedding in source clip file.

  But sadly, this was not the solution…

  Finaly problem solved, new installation of the system and now 8.1.1 rocks!!!

  Yeah!!!
