Project location
On a standalone Mac Pro, where does Resolve 8.1 save the internal project files? Where is it on the hard drive?

Hi Oliver, the project metadata, not the images, are stored in the database. If you want to back the database up you can using the database manager, or you can export the project to any location on the system.
The metadata stores the grade information for each clip and the location of the media so if you more the images you will need to relink when you open the project again.

Thanks. I was just wondering where that actually was located on the hard drive. It doesn’t look there’s a visible file anywhere, like a cache or something in Application Support.

The postgres server is configured to store it’s data at:
/Library/PostgreSQL/8.4/data/

If you wanna access to a single project for backup or sharing purposes, export it manually.
