    Hello all, we are pleased to announce the release of DaVinci Resolve for Mac, DaVinci Resolve for Linux and DaVinci Resolve Lite which are now available for download from the BMD support pages on our web site. This is a no charge upgrade for existing customers.

    UltraStudio 3D support using ThunderBolt™
    ACES Colorspace support
    Support for 3D shaper LUTs
    Avid AAF export for simplified Avid AMA round trip
    Avid AAF import support
    Final Cut Pro 7 XML clip by clip selectable import of image sizing data
    Ignore file extension option when conforming using AAF or XML
    ‘Hover over’ corrector node grading status display to reveal list of changes within the node
    Hover node over connector link to auto connect

    Brilliant. I’m going to do a clean OS install for this. What is the recommended OS X (is it 10.7.2?), and what are the recommended GPU drivers and CUDA driver.

    You should consult the configuration guide in the Blackmagic REsolve support page. I would beware of anything including and beyond 6.8. Apple appears to be sowing a lot of poison pills in their iOS now.

    People seem to think this is all you need to do to create DCP packages. Wrong.

    OSX 10.7.2 is the latest supported OS. It seems to work well so far – no known issues.
