Import metadata from Apple Color
Hey guys,
hope I am not asking too obvious question, but I did not find anything searching through the forums…
Is it possible to import metadata from Apple Color to DaVinci? I mean, we did some pre coloring on one project using Color and now we need to do the real job with DaVinci on other place, so I wonder whether it is possible to somehow transfer the thing we already did in Color to the DaVinci project…

You’re hoping for the fabled “CDL” exchange, and although it sort of exists, all its good for is Primaries. The other issue is that different systems apply their color remapping algorithms differently, so its almost worthless. Everybody does their HSL, vignetting, windowing, and everything else so differently its fish on a bicycle.
