I know the lite version only supports one GPU card… but do they mean that it only supports rendering the same card that is used for the computer display… or do they mean that it supports one rendering GPU card in addition to the card driving your monitor (isn´t that actually using two cards)?

It means it supports one card for GPU processing. That one card can also be drug to its knees driving the GUI display, or you could have a separate GUI display card (recommended).

Umm… I think you can use the same numbers of gpu with lite than with full. At least i can use 3 gpu with lite. But with only 2 nodes you dont need it…

No, Resolve Lite is limited to using 1 GPU. At least according to the Resolve Product Comparison chart here:

    https://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/davinciresolve/compare/

Having more than 1 GPU won’t hurt anything.

Jose, when you run Lite on your 3 GPU system, how many GPU’s does it show when you go to About DaVinci Resolve?

Maybe its using more than one, its useful for testing gpu configs without full version.

My about davinci show 3 gpu. I dont know how to upload a screen grab here, but i can email you one if you need.

    Regards,

    Jose
