  Rendering Taking Too Long

  Hey Creative Cow,

  I’ve been having this issue for awhile, but I still haven’t gotten a solution yet.

  My videos are taking almost 7 hours to render when it seems it should be only taking 20 min max.

  This is what I am making to show you instead of trying to explain, this is not meant to be advertisement.

  The vinyl spinning along with the dot is an mp4 that it just laid over, the rest is the part that is rendered (everything in AE CC 2015)
  As you can see the lines in the water align with the music.

  My computer specs are:

  13in Macbook Pro (2014)
  16 GB of RAM
  3 GHz Intel Core i7

  But I don’t think it’s anything my computer can’t handle?
  I export the video in Media Encoder CC 2015 as a YouTube 720p mp4.

  What happen when you render to a file with the After Effects render queue instead of rendering via Media Encoder?
