I went thru the Blackmagic support page and the PDF lists 3 capture cards supported.

    1x DeckLink HD Extreme 3D+
    1x DeckLink HD Extreme 3D
    1 x DeckLink HD Extreme 3

My question is Can the Decklink HD Extreme be functional also in the DaVinci Resolve? I just want to use the card for monitoring SD/HD via SDI. No Capturing or Playout to tape functions.

    Thanks

Same answer as in the other 10 threads :
Yes, probably you can, but its not officially supported and BM encourages you to buy the supported one for all sorts of reasons.
My reason : have it running for half a year, not a single glitch.

I have been running the basic Decklink HD-Sdi card for monitoring and have had no problems, hoping the Decklink 4K will work in the future.
