    Hi,

I’m one of many color users who have now bought into Resolve 8 (picking my copy up today).
Just a couple of questions at the moment! They may seem obvious to many of you.

I have a Matrox MXO2 I take it that this will not work with Resolve 8 to monitor SDI to
my Flanders Scientific. Will I have to go for the Blackmagic Extreme?
Also will be using the Tangent Wave….is there any new software I should be downloading
or anything else I might be missing.

    Thanks for any help.
    Danny.

Right now you will need to get a Blackmagic card, many people are using the basic Decklink HD-Sdi card for monitoring. Otherwise you should be ok to run but consider a CUDA capable nVidia card is you want the best performance possible. The Wave just plugs in and there is a setting in Resolve to use it.

Please download and review the Resolve for Mac OS X configuration guide. You can find it at the BMD support page and it describes the certified hardware configurations.
