    Hello,

I just purchased A Tangent Wave Panel from B&H and I am just curious if right out of the box its setup for use in all aspects of Resolve or if I need to add / map some essential things. Also do people still find themselves using the mouse / wacom tablet & pen for certain things or should I be able to strictly use the Wave & Keyboard?

    Thank you for your time.

Just plug in the Wave panel, and in Resolve Preferences, select the Tangent Devices Wave as the Control Panel Type.

Resolve does not require you to load any Wave software on your system. The Resolve app communicates with the Wave directly.

There is no ability to remap Wave controls under the Resolve app.

On the Blackmagic Design web site, in the Support area for Resolve Mac, under Support Notes, is a PDF doc that describes the Resolve Wave control mapping.

    Hi Dwaine,

That link (the Support Notes) is broken and has been for at least a week. Which is a bit frustrating because I would like to get some kind of guide to the panel mappings on the MC Color, but can’t seem to find it anywhere.

    Regards,
    Mike
