The upgrade from 7.1 to 8.0 will take just a couple of minutes so don’t wait, make some money now with your new suite.

    Thanks peter,
I have a small confusion about the cards for gpu. shall i use two cards with cubix expander for real time playback or one is enough? My footage would be mostly RED,Alexa and canon stuff.

    Thanks
    PL

The Cubix will not speed up any playback, nor will a second GPU.
You should add a RedRocket if you need full HD or more playback from RED.
Alexa in its ProRes flavor plays just fine..two or three streams.
    No experience with ArriRaw yet.
    SO if money is there.
    Cubix, Quadro 4000, Red Rocket…perfect

    A slice of color…

    On topic:
Can you please give a bit more detailes what is exactly different in the support for Alexa V3?
LUT’s delivered with the installer or is there more?

There were some changes in the header for Arriraw v3, and we have incorporated those.

Would this change effect the image/quality? Where would we notice it?

(I’m asking because I have TC session tomorrow on Resolve and might need to ask for this update if it helps my material.)

Thanks sasha. So how about going with one gpu and buy the recently launched Ultrastudio 3D?
Any ideas how to get real time playback without Red rocket because of budget constraints?

    Thanks
