Reinstalling Deckling driver twice a week
After extensive rendering or loading another project Resolve stops showing picture to the sdi out and becomes very sluggish. Clicking to the timeline causes resolve to show color wheel and become unresposivefor a long time. After reinstalling decklink driver all gone and resolve works as intended. It happens two, three times a week and becomes a little boring. Did anybody experienced that?

yes it did happen to me. I found the problem was not with the DaVinci, it was with the card itself : no app could output video to the Decklink, not even Final Cut or Color. It’s just DaVinci behavior to freeze when it can’t output the video.
The problem did not appear after installing version 7.9.4 of the drivers AND installing a sync generator. Don’t know which was the most important.

Good to know.
I’ve gotten the video freezing in the middle of a long render, but the render has always gone through, and resolve has woken up just fine from it.
I’m on a decklink 3d if that matters…
(haha, I just realized why you typed deckling, you’re on an iOS device)
