    Hi Folks,

    Biiiig question!

I have in my possession a Resolve on a mac 7.1.1 with the MXF License, an Avid MC5.

Need to : Avid to Dav (Red et Tape based media), to Avid back for the online… A lot of cuts, effects and whatever. So I do need to have the cuts….

    Red offline from Redcine-X

I’ve tried to export an EDL, an AAF, to renders MXF, place it in my Avid Media Folder… refresh… Same problem : the renders from Da Vinci have NO TAPE NAME!!!! The swap, the relink does not seems to work… I’ve tried to relink via AMA : nothing…

Does somebody have a good workflow with the new version of Dav to go ?

I’m thinking going to FCP with Automatic Duck since nothing seems to work and I have a thigh deadline…

    PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEE!! 🙂

    Thanks!

What version of Media Composer are you on? There\\\’s a significant change that happened around the release of 5.0.3.7 concerning AAF exports. Here\\\’s some details:

Have you tried exporting a linked AAF file and, in Resolve, add all the associated R3D files to the media pool? Then in the conform tab add the AAF?

    Hope this helps,
