    hey guys,

Currently, i am using the mac version of resolve with the resolve panel. I am possibly looking into upgrading to the linux version and was wondering if anyone has worked with it and how they inputted alexa prores 422 files onto the machine. would the files first have to be converted to dpx files or is there a way where the linux version would be able to read the .mov files. straight into the box.

    HI Phillip,

At the moment you would have to transcode the ProRes files to something like DPX, Uncompressed Quicktime, Open EXR, Tiff.

One option is to use your Mac Resolve system to transcode the files to DPX, if you are on a MacPro with a Nvidia card this should be real time.

    Thanks
