Does anyone have any good techniques on Revival for removing arcing scratches? These scratches are not straight AND they move around. The scratch tools are only really designed for very straight and thin vertical scratches. Even then the automatic tools are hit or miss.

I’ve been going frame to frame, but this is killing me. I’ve been using Revival for about 5 years so I’m fairly familiar with all of the features. But, perhaps some one has some tricks for “wild” scratches. Moving, scratches, that change in width and sometimes arc!

    Argh.

    Any help or condolences appreciated!

Hello Jonathon. You are indeed right. These types of scratches are difficult to correct automatically. Frame by frame may be the only method for good results. If you have a couple of sample frames that would not compromise the copyright, you could send them to us for future development purposes.
