tiff to mov
It is a bit off topic but i wonder what others use to “melt” image streams to
uncompressed mov.I have lately a lot of file based jobs and vfx stuff in there so tiff or tga
streams are better.I have used Resolve to make me mov out of them as quictime,
import and make mov does really big gamma shift for me.
I talk about old quictime as new one does not do this.What others use?
I have not tested media express lately for that.
BM used to have nice little app for that some time ago.—

Quicktime Pro can open image sequence and save mov file.

I’m not sure if this would be applicable (or if you specifically need Uncompressed format), but Quicktime itself can open TIFF sequences as “image sequence” – then you can do a save to that sequence and it will be a .MOV wrapped “TIFF SEQUENCE”
I used it to conform alpha mattes for a feature a few months ago. Wrapping it in quicktime this way didn’t modify the original files in any way but allowed it to be used in any Quicktime friendly application.

I use it all the time but last stuff i used it i got really huge gamma shift but maybe this is from prefs gamma option. Have to test it.
I hope BM nice feature would be really nice to have. Just drop folder from finder and get mov.

It might also depend on how the TIFFs are saved. I was pulling stills from photoshop into Resolve yesterday and those exported with sRGB shifted gamma and hue, those that were saved with Adobe RGB were visually identical.
Although now Resolve supports TIFF sequences natively which is very nice
