Does anyone have any advice on projectors?

There seems to be a lot of projectors for between $5,000-$12,000 (Runco, Sony etc). Has anyone considered running a projector in this range for color critical work?

We are using a JVC RS-25 and I am really happy with it , in its class.
With some time and Cinespace you can set it up to a nice P3 space , i am also using some self developed Cinevator LUTs and it works as expected.
Needless to say, its a whole different story to grade on that compared to a nicely set up NEC NC2000 for example.
But want to spend 5.000 and not 50.000
So I would ask the client how critical the work really is.

We have a Panasonic PT-DW5100U DLP Projector that we’ll be using in our new color enhancement suite. It can project up to a 70 foot image I believe, it’s a mid sized venue projector. We originally got it to use as a projector at venues for BluRay playback but it works so well, we’re going to now install it in our new shop.

Runs about $8,000 US I believe. At least it was when it came here.
