  • Importing AE projects into other AE projects.

I want to create an AE project and then import that project into several AE projects. Lets say after I have done so I want to make edits to the first AE project that is used in the several projects.

If I make the edits to that main AE project how can I make it update in the other AE projects?

Sorry if this is confusing but maybe this explanation will help.

I have one AE project that has several medical slides in seperate comps. I am going to use them in 3 separate videos so I created 3 AE projects for each video. Now they all use the same slides and animations.

    THEN,

I had edits to the slides and wanted to make the edits to that main Slide comp and not have to make the same edits to 3 different projects.

Its like if I edited a resource say a video and used that in three different AE projects. All I would have to do is edit that video and rerender it and it would update in the project. But imported AE projects dont really do that OR do they?

I hope this makes sense sorry its so long.
