    Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could give me insights on how to achieve this effect like the one in the video below. It basically looks like a colored filter that changes to the music’s beat.

    I would take a look at:

    Animation->Keyframe Assistant->Convert Audio to Keyframes

    And then parent the generated Keyframes to control the opacity or other parameters of an animated color layer (or any other layer) and set some blend modes.
