  Render previews stop when I alt tab

  Folks,

  When I go to render a preview, I accept it will take a little time depending of lots of things.

  However, when I set a render preview going, I have come to realise the process stops when I alt-tab to anther program, or if the screen saver kicks in. Basically, I have to sit there and watch it do its thing and turn off my screen saver just to keep it going. Ideally, I’d like it to do a render in the background while I do other things on my PC so that I can come back later.

  Any ideas?
