Hi. I will be animating many windows swiping right and left. Sometimes in quick succession, stopping for sound ups.

The goal is to look similar to scrolling through iPad images (but running video clips instead)

Is it best to be keying animating the video boxes themselves (flying across the screen) or is it best to lay them out and have the camera do all of the moving around.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

    Cheers!

There are many ways to do this and it depends on personal preference, as well as what else is going on in the composition. I would line up all your videos next to each other and parent them to a null object. Then you can keyframe the position of the null to “swipe” to the next video.

Nice! That’s exactly the advice I needed.

That’s definetly the best way. Thanks man.

    Now, the fun part.

    Cheers!
