    Hey All-
I am trying to research putting together a After Effects system to support the basic motion graphic needs of an offline editing house. We have a system now, but in the near future we are looking to build something more powerful and efficent. The current system is a After Effects 6.5 on a Dual 2 GHz Mac G5 with a 150 GB startup drive and 235 GB of additional internal storage. We have 1 GB DDR SDRAM. To import media into AE we use the Automatic Duck Pro Import plug-in, transfering OMF 2.0’s and Media to the G5’s from the Avid Unity over a Firewire Harddrive.
Firstly in building a new system what are some of the things i should look out for (Storage space, RAM, Displays, Client Monitors, etc.)? What is the best way to maximize the workflow? And are there any cool bells and whistles i should look out for?

thanks alot for all your help.
