    Hi,
I using a ttricaster to stream online. I fade in name tags for the performers on our show using a .png image. But I want to spice it up a bit and use animated text.

I have tried using .movs and dvs exported with alpha channel and million colours, the same way you would do it in final cut pro to overlay some animated text over video with just the text showing and not the background.

However I cannot get the same effect to work on a tricaster. Does anybody know how to do this on a Tricaster?

    Thank you.

In Wirecast, Animation codec .mov with Alpha channel works.
If that doesn’t work in Tricaster it’s time to reconsider . . .

Yeah I tried that so I think maybe it’s just not possible on Tricaster.

    Thank you Craig

I disagree. There are many ways to do that with tricaster (depends on the TC Model). But i think its better to post such questions directly in the Newtek Forum, because there are many specialized and very helpful guys who can give answers to your questions.
