    Hi,

    I have a

    Macbook Pro
    17-inch
    2.2GHz quad-core
    Intel Core i7
    8GB 1333MHz
    500GB SSD
    Intel HD Graphics 3000
    AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 1GB GDDR5

and I would like to connect three Sony EX3 through SDI for use with WIrecast.

I am wondering if anyone have any suggestion on hardware for getting all three EX3 SDI streams into the Mac Book pro.

And if so, Have you experience good quality and good outcome of the setup?

(If you have suggestions on HDMI hardware input into the computer for three cameras that would also be nice)
    Thank You

    /Henrik

My hope is that someday soon, there will be Thunderbolt with passthrough to allow for multiple inputs.
Currently I’m not sure of any Express port PCIe chassis that can handle multiple input SDI cards.

I do wonder if something like the Matrox Multi (4 SDI) could work with Sonnet’s upcoming Thunderbolt PCIe expansion chassis.

Ok, thank you Craig for your quick reply.

I am also looking at another solution and I have read a little bit about the Teradek Cube that streams live over you local wifi.

have you had any experience with these? If so,

Do you know if Wirecast is capable to control three of these cubes and how the result is?

I haven’t used Teradek Cube personally but have been in contact with those developing it and Wirecast integration. Yes, Wirecast can handle multiple Cubes.

    Hi Henrik

I was wondering if you have had a chance to try your setup with multiple Cubes?
