  AE – How would you mask/rotoscope this video?

  Hi there Creatives!

  For a movie I’m creating a video which includes video and digital images. Two hands are browsing through a book. I want to mask a hand before the images in de video. The only way I know is to mask this. It takes a lot of time, because the hands are moving, and I have to place a lot of keyframes.

  How would you mask this?
  I tried rotoscoping but It was difficult for me. Pictures below.
