  Lightsaber

  Hi,

  I followed the light saber tutorial on this website by andrew kramer, and am using his preset.

  but when i make it the lightsaber is on all the frame and i need it to start half way through the video not from the beginning.

  it stays still from the beginning to where i want it,. then it moves like i have moved it.

  but i cant seem to get rid of it before that part… any help?

  okay go to the time where you want to trim the layer and hit ALT+[ to trim from the beggining or ALT+] to trim from the end, if the saber stop before the ending. you can also split the layer by hitting CTRL+Shift+D.
