Export a vector shape that is a line and stroke
I am trying to export a shape to .dxf format. The shape consists of both a line segment and the stroke that is applied to it. I could go in to Illustrator and line trace the stroked line, but I hope there is away to simply export the line with the stroke applied? In other words I want to get a wide line (width = the size of the stroke) not the skinny line that I am currently getting.

My educated guess is that expanding the shape (equal to outlining the stroke) would be the best way to to this.
